Overview
Experienced Environmental Engineer required for our client based in Grangemouth. Applicants educated to degree level or equivalent in chemical engineering or relevant/similar subject preferred. Main Responsibilities: Prepare and Update of Site's PPC Permit Prepare and submit the required emissions data for the Environmental Regulator, notifying management of any excursions outside operating limits Participate in and lead discussions with the Environmental Regulator Manage programmes to implement requirements of the PPC permit including preparation of reports and documentation Monitor and audit site compliance with the requirements of PPC and iso14001 authorisations Management of waste in compliance with relevant regulations Management of site's Environmental Improvement plan Preparation of technical scope documents for the new contracts in the environmental area and contract management (using SAP system) Updating the environmental procedures for the site Interact with all the departments to manage all the environmental issues related to operations and investments. Candidate Experience: Technical Experience within a process industry environment. Experience of managing PPC permit and interaction with the Environmental Regulator. Additional Details: Data analysis, reporting at all levels, communication with external bodies Proprietary environmental modelling software advantageous.
