Attention all senior or lead Android developers in Bristol wanting to do something completely new and be part of something great… Help to build and establish a brand-new team of Android developers for an attractive e-Commerce brand moving to the heart of Bristol. Well established business offering competitive salaries benefits with the innovation and pace of a start-up (without the 10 pm finishes) They have big plans and ambitions for their new Bristol team, and this Lead Android role is just the beginning, so get involved if you're looking for a change I am absolutely buzzing to have partnered up with this company, with over 4 million users and an international presence - tech is right at the center of their priorities and after recent success have chosen to expand their engineering team further and chosen Bristol as the city in which they'll do this. How would you like to take the lead on a brand-new Android team? Maybe you've been in a senior role for quite some time and see no room for progression in your current company… Or you maybe things have just gone a bit stagnant and you've been waiting for an opportunity like this to come along? The main project focus for this team will be the rebuilding of their existing Android application, giving it more of an identity, by adopting fully native Android patterns. You'll be in London for your first 3 weeks for an induction (arranged and funded by them of course) on their brand, culture and vision followed by helping them to build, shape and mould an Android dream team Interested? This is what they're looking for: Strong knowledge skills in Android development Leadership experience (mentoring/training at least 1-2 engineers) Understanding of Agile working practices Knowledge of Continuous integration Knowledge of TDD/BDD A passion for getting involved with the Bristol tech community the desire to get involved at speaking at meetups/events flying their flag If you want to find out more… time to take action ??
