Overview
Title: Proposal Manager Do you have a degree qualification in a business, science-based discipline or equivalent experience? Do you have Geophysical or Offshore Survey Experience? Proposal Manager required around Porchester Salary upto £38,000 Location: around Porchester The Role of Proposal Manager Liaise with the management & commercial teams to assess the viability of every opportunity to bid and ensure recommendations are documented; Write and/or coordinate the writing of the proposals; Determine the best technical strategy for every bid (vessels, equipment, personnel, methods etc.); Liaise with other Fugro commercial business development staff to determine commercial strategies for each bid; Determine ways to provide value to our clients whilst achieving target margins; Ensure all relevant tender clarification questions are submitted on time; Oversee the review of all draft contracts and assist with contract negotiations/ agreements; Represent the Marine Site Characterisation, as necessary, at sales meetings & client negotiation; Maintain and update CRM systems with all projects and opportunities. What are the key (minimum) requirements for a successful Proposal Manager application? A degree qualification in a business, science-based discipline or equivalent experience. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal; Able to work alone, in a team and lead a small team; Able to negotiate positive outcomes; Be able to anticipate problems and ensure early intervention; Experience in relevant technical discipline and/or Experience in marine oil and gas and renewable energy industries tendering, contract review, project management, finance and/or accounting.
