My client is seeking a Senior Housing Options and Advice Officer to make Section 184 decisions under the Housing Act 1996. Strong knowledge of relevant Housing legislations is required for this positions in order to make justified decisions on vulverable client well being. The client understands the pressures of the position and is keen to support all members in comfortable working condition. The team are looking for an experienced candidate that can successfully asses tenants needs to tailor advice and services to each individual. Officers will have experience working with vulnerable people and making decisions based on their best interests. The team are looking for a candidate that can quickly adapt to their way of working and provide exceptional advice based on knowledge in Housing. Make Section 184 decisions under the Housing Act 1996 Experience carrying out Part 6 or Part 7 assessments Carrying out enquiries to understand what duties are owed by the client Create Personalised Housing Plans for vulnerable clients under the Homeless Reduction Act 2017 Ensure the best Housing Options service and preventing homelessness where necessary If you have previous experience in these areas and keen to develop your knowledge further this is a perfect team for you.
