Come and work for us who can offer you FLEXIBLE HOURS & EXCELLENT BENEFITS We have great opportunities for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Support Workers in a brand new service at Old Shoreham Road in Brighton. We have shifts covering 37.5 hours per week Or less hours if that is your preference Old Shoreham road is a three-floor 6 bedroom property, each bedroom with its own en-suite bathroom. It will have multiple communal areas for individuals to socialise in if they wish, including a lounge, dining room and kitchen. It is for adults aged 18 with severe learning disabilities and autism spectrum conditions. The service will support people through a person-centred planning approach, tailored towards individual needs and focused on positive outcomes. The service will be in an ideal location close to Brighton. There are multiple community facilities close by including shops, restaurants, Brighton pier, the i360 and beaches. Holmbush shopping centre is close by, and there are great transport links including train stations and bus links so people can easily access surrounding areas if they wish to. As a Support Worker you will support and enable people to live the life they choose: to make choices, to express themselves and live as independently as possible. Your patient support and encouragement will assist individuals to run their own lives as much as possible - helping with personal care, supporting someone to rustle up some breakfast, do the weekly shop or visit a local café. We also support people to take part in some our amazing arts and wellbeing activities - from dance to music making, swimming to going to concerts. Being a Support Worker can be the springboard to your future career - and to all sorts of opportunities and management roles. Experience is not necessarily required for this role as we are able to support you and provide you with an excellent induction. However, it is really important that you are able to demonstrate the right values and behaviours to enable you to make a difference to people's lives. Flexibility is needed as working times do vary and will include evenings and occasional weekends; we will however provide you with a rota well in advance so you can plan your social life accordingly. Drivers preferred but not essential.
