Purchase Ledger Clerk Batley £18,000 - £21,000 Are you looking for a varied purchase leger position / accounts assistant role in West Yorkshire? Are you currently progressing toward AAT or have you completed an accountancy and finance degree? Highly ambitious and professional business (internationally operating) have an opportunity for a bright and enthusiastic accounts clerk. You will support the management accountant and be responsible for a varied and busy role focusing initially on purchase ledger. Your remit will initially include: All aspects of purchase ledger. Bank reconciliation. Supporting the management accountant with ad hoc tasks and reporting (particularly through month end) Supplier statements reconciliation. Basic financial analysis reporting. Data collation and data entry. The Head of Finance is ideally looking for someone with drive and keenness to learn / develop. It would be a superb opportunity for someone looking to build a career within accountancy and finance and complete AAT. This is a great business with an excellent working environment. You will work in a collaborative and supportive finance team and enjoy guidance and mentoring where required. You will ideally: Have gained basic accounting experience as accounts clerk / ledger clerk and have began AAT. Have excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive and professional approach. Be someone who is naturally well organized and confident working to deadlines.
