Job Title: Transport Planner Grade: Assistant to Consultant, consultancy experience required Salary Range: £25,000 to £35,000 Office Location: Central London An independent transport planning consultancy supporting architects & developers, based in Central London, has an opportunity for a Transport Planner to join the team. The organisation has a clear pathway for internal progression to a more senior position, with support & training from a team of highly experienced planning professionals. Candidate Specification: Consultancy based transport planning experience; Good understanding of the development planning process; Strong report writing skills, including transport assessments & statements; Experience with junction modelling software would be beneficial; Confident communicator & capable of presenting ideas effectively; Degree level education in a relevant subject; Job Specification: Transport assessments & statements; Site appraisal & feasibility studies; Travel planning; Advising on parking & servicing requirements; Construction management plans; Expert witness & planning appeals; Section 106/278 negotiations. If successful, you will join a growing team who have developed a strong presence within the London market. Their workload includes a diverse range of developments within both the public & private sectors and would afford the opportunity to gain valuable project exposure from conception through to delivery. You will also have opportunities to progress internal, with a clear pathway to management roles, including profit share options.
