Overview
Equi-Trek are the leading manufacturers of equestrian and leisure vehicles, supplying to the UK and overseas. An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Production Supervisor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will : - Be approachable - Be Committed - Lead by example - Be positive - Be receptive to change - Be flexible (working hours) when required - Have an eye for detail - Take pride in the quality of finished products - Have experience in aspects of manufacturing and/or construction The successful candidate will be expected to : · Lead a team of people · Supervise a team (attitude, productivity, quality, compliance) ·P rioritise and allocate work – driven by delivery schedule & weekly target ·E nsure company and departmental policy compliance ·B uild working relationships within department ·B uild working relationships across business ·C ommunicate and act professionally ·E ncourage and plan cross-skilling of team members ·M anage and take responsibility for vehicle completion ·S pend time being ‘hands-on’ ·C onduct quality and inter-departmental transfer checks ·I nvestigate and address root-causes of complaints ·C ontribute to discussion and debate, change and continuous improvement ·S hare knowledge and experience, primarily with peers ·T ake responsibility for team’s health & safety, housekeeping and tools, security & maintenance
