Overview
Elevation Procurement & Supply Chain are exclusively working with a major Manufacturer based in Sheffield in the search for an experienced Master Production Scheduler. A globally recognised organisation, this role will play a critical role in the success of the site and the wider business. My client is looking for a key member of their Production Team who will effectively plan, create and communicate all material workflow in line with customer demand. You will be responsible for balancing demand with available capacity and ensure deliverables are met on time and in full. The role will require excellent communication skills and a background in lean manufacturing, with experience in S&OP forecasting meetings. A strong background of planning within a Manufacturing environment is essential. The successful incumbent will be responsible for the planning and scheduling of the organisations output, whilst also developing plans for Continuous Improvement. Key duties and responsibilities will include: - Planning and scheduling of the organisations output - Creating and maintaining accurate production schedules in order to achieve customer demand - Developing and monitoring effective scheduling KPIs - Ensuring data is maintained to the highest possible standard - Accurate management and control of shop floor data capture to ensure planning information and production requirements are adhered to - On time generation and release of production work orders, utilising ERP systems Elevation Procurement & Supply Chain would be keen to speak with candidates who have the following skills and experiences: - Considerable experience in a planning/scheduling role within a manufacturing environment with bespoke systems - Extremely strong analytical skills and familiarity with ERP and capacity planning software - A strong communicator - able to build relationships at all levels - Able to manipulate data - being proactive with your approach to planning On offer is a salary up to £37,000 and the typical working hours are 7am-3pm but these can be flexible around current commitments, depending on what would work best for you. The company also offers a quarterly bonus and the opportunity to purchase additional holiday days on top of the 25 on offer.
