Overview
On behalf of our client, one of the largest engineering organizations in the world, we are recruiting for a quality engineer to work for there power and gas side of the business. If you are available please call 01618881309 or email Job Function Responsibility for delivering PPQ process for Gas Turbine component manufacture. Ensures compilation and completion of each relevant PPQ elements, including uploading data to company Sharepoint. (This also includes FAIR data for each part). Nominated main point of contact for all PPQ related issues. Liaise PPQ activities relating to external sub-contract processes. Executes quality standards in Production Quality operations and processes. Performs production quality reporting and analysis. Applies specialized Quality systems, equipment, tools and methods. Initiates actions according to guidelines, when quality does not match the standards. Responds to quality related enquiries, may act as first point of contact in subject matters. Plans and completes unit-related Production Quality projects. Implements actions and monitors effectiveness and sustainability of solutions with defined quality methods, e.g. 8D, SPC and FMEA. Ensures and implements of production standards, guidelines and programs in an assigned plant environment. Analyzes workflow environment and proposes improvements to management. Requirements Experience in Quality functions within a manufacturing environment, ideally in Gas Turbine, Power Generation or Aerospace.
