A recently refurbished pub located in North Yorkshire is recruiting for a Sous Chef Role: A privately owned pub which has undergone a refurbishment program is now looking for a Sous Chef to join the team of four chefs working in the kitchen.The pub focuses on serving modern British dishes as well as pub classics all created to high standards with the expectation of gaining accolades in the future.The pub seats 40 covers in the main dining area which is open for lunch and dinner but can also accommodate private dining parties for up to 20 covers.As Sous Chef you will be expected to be capable of working across the sections whilst supporting the Head Chef with the day to day running of the kitchen including running service in their absence. Requirements: All Sous Chefs applying for this role should have worked to two AA Rosette previously in their career at least at Chef de Partie level.A chef who has strengths on all sections in the kitchen with the ability to move between them in a small kitchen is needed.As well as being a talented chef it is also important that you have good team leadership skills with experience of running shifts in the kitchen.
