Overview

Desktop Support Analyst - Buy side - Private Equity - London Desktop Support Engineer - Buy side Financial Services Do you want to join an international investor in private equity based out of their London headquarters? You will join an experienced infrastructure and desktop support team supporting a global user base of around 300 professionals responsible for the development and maintenance of software and infrastructure for the business. What can you expect to do? First and foremost; it is your responsibility to provide user support and customer service on company supported computer applications and platforms for the London head office. Troubleshooting problems and advising on the appropriate action and also plan and perform primary maintenance on a wide variety of system components and services. End user and infrastructure support for all offices globally, ensuring that all tickets are logged and resolved in a timely and effective manner. Determining and executing the appropriate technical response to customer issues. Evaluating problems and requests and selecting the most appropriate solution within corporate guidelines. What prior experience can you bring? Being the go to person in the team responding to all 1st & 2nd line incidents logged in the Service Desk. A passion for excellent customer service, ensuring high levels of communication and managing problems through to completion. Experienced in supporting Windows 10 Environments and excellent working knowledge of core Microsoft products; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet Explorer Office 365 experience would be great as well as working knowledge of Windows Server, Microsoft Active Directory and its associated tools. You have supported remote access systems including MFA, Citrix and Windows Terminal Servers and Meraki VPN connections. Supported Apple iOS-based devices via MDM systems.
