Overview
This is a fantastic opportunity if you are looking for an exciting new permanent job as a Technical Support Engineer with a very successful, highly reputable and well-established market leader, based in Halifax, West Yorkshire, who offer a very generous package, free parking and a great team working environment Providing Technical Engineering support to the Technical Manager and Technical department, your duties will include: Responding to requests from the sales team for technical information and advising on technical issues Managing own and shared inboxes Dealing with both customers and distributors directly Testing products and materials including recording of results and reporting to gain the required information Working on projects adhering to strict deadlines and producing reports on findings and results Ensuring that all safety guidelines are followed in line with company policy and all work is checked Liaising with customers, sales representatives and internal colleagues as required via email to answer technical questions, written reports and investigations Maintaining thorough and accurate recording of tests results You will have demonstrable practical skills gained through a similar role or training as part of an apprenticeship or graduate scheme. In addition, you will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, together with the ability to work to strict deadlines and produce clear and concise reports.
