Job description: Desktop Support Team Leader / Manager London (City) £45-50,000 bonus benefits This is a wonderful opportunity for a Senior Desktop Support specialist looking to make that next move in their career. Job Role: To deliver and manage desktop support cover to the business and develop out operational processes to improve daily expectation of technology. The role will also leverage the outsourced vendor to improve internal technical standards and the customer experience through management and training. The role will also provide support to all other infrastructure projects. Responsibilities: Desktop support and operational IT improvement across all offices. Proactive maintenance checks, upgrades, asset tracking. Measure and improve technical service, controlling operational IT quality. Leveraging and improving the technical Outsourced Manager. Internal customer experience improvement, including desktop training. Supporting and backing up of all other IT infrastructure projects. Thorough knowledge of and compliance with procedures and standards. Contribute, or otherwise assist, as required. Qualities, skills and Experience required Essential: Able to demonstrate ability to undertake the above responsibilities. Microsoft Office and desktop improvement experience ITIL Qualification gained and put to practical use Networking and telephony skills Desirable: Experience delivering and improving technical support in a professional organization and exposure to Asset Management or finance. Any other infrastructure, networking or Azure skills an advantage. User technical training an advantage.
