Overview
I am currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant for a construction business based in Birmingham City Centre. This is a permanent role paying up to 25k PA and will be offering study support for the right candidate, making it the perfect role for someone looking for their next step. Working within a small team, responsibilities will include but not be limited too - Assistance in maintaining Fixed Asset Register Initial preparation of monthly Balance Sheet Recs Creating payment runs for review by FD Provide assistance to FD with cash flow forecasting Liaison with Auditors Identify and recommend added-value reporting opportunities for improvement of financial processes and trend analysis Management of payroll system for annual leave, starters and leavers Posting Purchase Ledger invoices and creating supplier statements as required The successful candidate will be studying towards ACCA/CIMA/ACA, or be AAT Qualified looking to begin studying. Previous experience in a Finance role is a necessity.
