Overview
Business Development Executive - Print Advertising Our client is a UK wide, franchised, leaflet distribution company. We are looking for a Business Development Executive to target new business acquisition through marketing agencies and also direct. Our distribution centre is based in Swanley, Kent. The Job; The role involves building relationships with marketing and PR agencies so that our client becomes the partner of choice when it comes to offline or leaflet campaigns. You will also be responsible for building and managing a new business pipeline to ensure a steady flow of new business. You will be office based but also expected to spend time prospecting through local networking events and exhibitions. Business Development Executive Requirements; Some sales or negotiation experience and an understanding of general sales process. Able to be self-motivated but also an excellent team player. Good communication skills. Some commercial experience would be an advantage, understanding of profit and loss accounts and how cash flow can impact a small business. A marketing qualification or experience in marketing is also required. In return, our client is looking to offer an annual salary between 22,000 - 25,000 plus pension contributions, 22 days holiday, performance bonus (after qualifying period), flexible working hours. This Business Development Executive role would suit someone who is looking to develop a career in sales and marketing, someone who has an entrepreneurial spirit with a goal of owning their own business, in the future.
