Overview

Currently working with a healthcare business in Berkshire, who are looking to add a Finance Manager to the team: Responsibilities: To direct and oversee the day to day running of the financial department, oversee the daily input of invoices, cash book payments and receipts, wages and payroll and ensure processes are robust to produce accurate financial information. To produce the financial information of the group and ensure its timely distribution to all relevant staff. It will also be the responsibility of the Finance Manager to assist in customer rate negotiations’. It will also be the responsibility of the Finance Manager to prepare the wages and make timely payment. financial activities, to include the preparation of current financial reports and forecasts for future business growth. Main Duties Credit control, to ensure that all cash has been collected when it falls due and ensure that any issues are investigated and resolved To educate, train all staff in the finance department to ensure good practice is adhered to to review the cash position daily, process payments and ensure bank reconciliations are being done in a timely manner. To be responsible for the payroll to assist in customer rate negotiations’. to prepare the wages and make timely payment. Prepare of budgets and financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, tax returns and reports for Government regulatory agencies. Oversees all accounting procedures and systems used by the Company. Review reports and analyse projections of sales and income against actual figures and suggests methods of improving the planning process. Work closely with the Financial Director as part of a mutually supportive Senior Management Team. To advise on the likely financial consequences of all proposed courses of action. Work closely with the Financial Director to be able to deputise in his/her absence. Experience: Part qualified at a professional level Senior level experience of managing financial operations. Senior level of experience of corporate governance. Legal experience especially contract law would be helpful. Company secretarial experience This role is paying up to £45,000.
