Overview
A prestigious Higher Education institution is currently recruiting for an experienced AP Manager on an initial 6 month basis. Key Responsibilities include: Shaping and streamlining the Accounts Payable function Supervision of 3 outsourced accounts payable clerks Ownership of daily payment runs and ensuring all financial controls are followed Significant exposure to the wider business, with exciting opportunities to work Working alongside the Reconciliation and payments officer to manage and plan cash flow needed for future AP purposes Overseeing the reconciliation of supplier balances Identifying and resolving issues as well as improving the current process, with the aim of both increasing financial control and improving efficiency Key Person Specification: Minimum of 3 years experience within a managerial role in an AP function. An accurate attention to detail CCAB part qualified accountant or QBE. Experience with the Agresso Finance Software is desirable but not essential. You must be available to start by the 6th April.
