Payroll Manager Job - job paying up to £65,000 / £65k - job based in London. Your new company A company based in London are looking for a Payroll Manager to join their head office. Your new role This role is a payroll Manager position and reports into a Finance Director. you will be responsible for overseeing the whole payroll department as well as processing casual payroll for over 1000 employees from start to finish. Duties include but are not limited too: Managing a team of 2 - training, supporting, reviews Processing payroll for over 1000 employees Relevant payroll journal postings Reconciliation of control accounts Monthly payment of court orders, child support, childcare and pay donations Submission of P11D returns, PAYE settlement agreements and relevant returns (eg. Annual pension return) Payroll Business Partner service across the business, including dealing with internal & external queries at all levels Implementing new processes and procedures to improve the payroll function What you'll need to succeed A minimum of 3 years experience managing a team A minimum of 5 years within Payroll Clear examples of implementing new policies and procedures to the payroll department Analytical with excellent numeracy skills and attention to detail must be second to none Sound understanding of all legal and statutory regulations relating to the management and operation of a payroll function, including PAYE, NIC, SSP, SMP, student loans, tax credits, court orders Working knowledge of the operation of and regulations governing pension schemes and data submission to pension companies including auto enrolment.
