Technical Quality Manager Salary: Negotiable DOE Pension (7%) 25 Days Holiday 8 Bank Holidays Childcare Vouchers Free Parking Location: Site based in Doncaster with possible travel to UK other sites Essential: Level 3 HACCP qualification, Level 3 Food Safety qualification or Food Hygiene qualification Degree in a Food Safety Related subject In depth knowledge of all relevant legislation relating to Food and Feed, Animal By Products and Waste Practical knowledge of HACCP, Food Safety & Food Hygiene Knowledge of manufacturing / FMCG industry Practical experience of developing, managing and implementing systems Experience of training and coaching employees Experience of dealing with suppliers and customers, generating, agreeing and implementing specifications. Experience of taking the lead in GFSI audits (BRC, ISO22001) and FEMAS, ISCC or PAS110 audits The Responsibilities: The day to day supervision and development of Quality and the Quality Management System, alongside the Group Technical/Quality Manager To ensure compliance with all relevant legislation relating to product safety and legality in conjunction with the Group Technical/Quality Manager Develop and implement relevant GMP and Hygiene Standards To assist the Group Technical Manager with implementation of new Quality Systems and revision of existing Quality Systems, in accordance with legislative requirements Monitor the quality within the factory and report findings back in a timely and precise manner To ensure Internal Audits are carried out to schedule and actioned in a timely manner Attend audits carried out by group quality, external suppliers and customers while ensuring the highest standards are achieved To assist in achieving and maintaining customer approval and any relevant accreditation standards To highlight the correct training requirements for staff To ensure Raw Material, Process Control and Finished Product Specifications are up to date in conjunction with the Group Quality Team My Client: My client is active in a wide range of sectors associated with the food chain They manufacture quality products for use in human and animal foodstuffs, agriculture, aquaculture, and industrial applications The company also produces biofuels and renewable energy and provides services for farming and the food industry They boast an annual turnover approaching £280 million, employing over 1,000 people at 23 sites across the country You must have full right to work in the UK to be considered for this role Langton Howarth also operates a recommend a friend referral scheme.
