Overview

Our client, a prestigious car dealership based in Chepstow, are looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to work in their busy accounts department. They are looking for someone ideally with motor trade experience who could hit the ground running although this isn’t essential. Experience required You will be organised, analytical and have a good attention to detail You have good communication skills, building and maintaining good relationships with both colleagues and customers You will be proficient in Microsoft Office packages, particularly Microsoft Excel You will ideally have experience within the Motor Trade and ideally experience with Kerridge Rev8, but this is not essential Key Responsibilities: Managing a high volume purchase ledger for 6/7 main motor dealers, 2 high volume trade parts businesses, 1 used car site and a repair centre Managing and assisting with complex reconciliations, supplier queries, high volume accounts etc. Preparing and running weekly and monthly BACs runs, and manual supplier payments if required Maintaining internal PO system Managing shared mailbox Month end reporting Resolution of queries for colleagues in other departments as necessary Ad-hoc duties as required (including covering team members’ absence) Full time hours of 37.5, flexible working is available.
