Overview

A four star city centre hotel in Manchester requires a Sous Chef to concentrate on the restaurant Role: A hotel that is transforming its restaurant that is a popular eatery with hotel residents as well as locals and visitor to the city is seeking to appoint a Sous Chef to the kitchen. The new concept will be traditional British with a modern twist with dishes prepared to two AA Rosette standards. As Sous Chef you will be a senior chef in the kitchen working closely with the Head Chef to introduce the new concept and ensure the cooking standards are consistently achieved by the whole team whilst also taking charge of the kitchen operation when needed. Requirements: All chefs applying for this role should have worked at Sous Chef level ideally in a modern British restaurant that offers its diners two AA Rosette standards. It is important that all applicants are confident team leaders with the ability to run a busy kitchen when required. A passionate chef who can bring new ideas to the menus would be ideal.
