Overview
My client is a full-service, UK-based (Cambridge), out-sourced intellectual property law firm, with a strong reputation throughout the life science and hi-tech sectors. The firm's client base is both national and international, ranging from start-ups through SME’s to global corporations. Due to continued success, the firm now has an open vacancy for an IP/commercial solicitor 1-4 years' PQE to join their team. You will have the opportunity to work closely with the Head of Legal, providing commercial contracts and intellectual property advice. Day to day duties will include: negotiating, drafting and amending a variety of commercial contracts including services, collaborations and licences; providing relevant intellectual property advice on the exploitation and protection of assets, along with offering advice on commercial strategy relating to intellectual property. This Cambridge based intellectual property solicitor role offers a healthy work life balance, with the flexibility to work from home 1-2 days a week. Another additional factor to the work life balance is that there are no targeted billable hours with this role.
