Ethernet Software Design Engineer TEC Partners are proud to be working alongside a leading manufacturer of communication solutions, in the search of a Software Design Engineer, specialising on Ethernet/Switch/Modem software design, based in Cambridge. As one of the only independent suppliers of transmission systems, you will have the opportunity to join a world-class team, designing and developing highly specialist applications to be used globally. Responsibilities: Development of Ethernet switch software Design & development of Layer2 (Switching) and Layer3 (Routing) Embedded C/C++ Linux Kernel development Development of products from concept through to manufacture Enhancing current legacy software Work closely with the Hardware and Manufacturing teams to enable efficiencies BSP development/Bring up C++ under Linux and Windows Ethernet/Modem/Switch experience is needed to be successful in this role.
