An excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and target driven Accounts Assistant has become available to join a Finance team within a global publishing company specialising in the billings/accounts receivable division. The role will be based in their London office working with a fantastic experienced team of 8, who always friendly, energetic and always on hand to help Your Primary responsibilities will be: Working closely with the sales team, credit controllers and reporting into the Head of Finance Responsible for ensuring sales invoices are correctly generated and dispatched Assisting in checking sales teams’ monthly commission, various reconciliations, credit checking and providing an important support function to the team The role will include maintaining, correct & audit records for invoices raised Posting sales journals and invoice posting to Accounts package Timely & accurate close-off of files for each Publication / revenue stream You will provide accurate feedback on queries, procedures and VAT issues as well as various other Billings/ Finance related responsibilities. In time you will also be the go-to person for maintaining and supporting sales staff Essential attributes Previous experience in billings/accounts receivable A team player, eager to learn, develop, and able to take ownership of the Billing function within the business Enthusiastic, hard-working, results driven, accurate and must have a can-do attitude Confident and out-going Possess good written, oral communication skills and excellent inter-personal skills, with the ability to deal with staff at all levels Experience working with multicurrency’s
