Just ONE are seeking a Children and young persons (CYP) support worker in Tameside, Manchester to effectively deliver semi-independent living support to vulnerable young people aged 16-25. The CYP support worker will work with young people to promote and develop essential life skills to support their transition into independent living. The CYP support worker will work with the Senior CYP support worker in the area and young people to implement the targeted outcomes detailed in a support plan based on the young person’s individual needs, focusing on developing their independent living and transition into adulthood. Just ONE is a Health and Social Care Company looking for flexible, enthusiastic, compassionate and caring people to provide support to vulnerable young people aged 16-25. Essential: Must have a QCF Level 3 or relevant qualification in working with vulnerable children and young people (or be willing to complete the QCF) Minimum of 12 months experience working with children and young people Will be expected to work; days, evenings, sleep in's and weekends as required A minimum of 1 sleep in per week Desirable: Ability to prioritise actions to achieve goals set Effective communication skills Willing to travel nationwide What you’ll get in return: 28 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays) Permanent contracts; Part/Full time or Zero hours £9 per hour 1 sleep in (FTE based on 32hours £17,316) Sleep ins as extra hours DBS paid for if on update service Discounts on 1000’s of retailers, food and drink and holiday companies Full training given with CPD accredited certificates QCF’s available Career progression within the company We are an equal opportunities employer and committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the individuals we support.
