Overview

A very exciting opportunity has arisen for a property savvy part time ACCA Qualified Accountant to work for a unique fast-growing Property Investment and Advisory firm based in the heart of London. My client is a property investment company that has expanded their business over the years and now has multiple investment streams and joint ventures at various stages of growth. The diversity in investment strategies provides an exciting platform for the successful candidate to grow the business. They are looking for a self-motivated sole charge ACCA Qualified Accountant on a part time bases to help drive the business. You will be working closely with the Managing Director and the senior members of the team to make the appropriate changes that will financially benefit the firm. You will be responsible for the following: Producing monthly cash flow statement and management accounts Year-end accounts Reconciling banks accounts, petty cash and credit card expenses Paying suppliers Raising and following up on payments of invoices Setting and monitoring group budgets Accounting for property purchases and sales Preparing individual accounts for owned properties to report to investors Producing quarterly VAT returns Liaising with accountants to streamline processes Tracking, organise and controlling spending on individual property purchases to help control profitability For this role I'm looking for somebody with the following skills and past experience: ACCA Qualified - essential Must have experience in working with a property company VAT exposure Must have been in house for a company before Must have dealt with loans and lenders Experience of working in a growing company Experience of setting up joint ventures and new companies, with experience of setting up new processes relating to risk compliance any other legally required duties of a new business. Xero accounting software experience Sage reporting. Strong IT skills including MS Office particularly MS Excel The ability to think independently, critically and, most importantly, organising the office infrastructure so that the team is working effectively Close attention to detail, excellent verbal communication and perfect writing skills The salary for this role is up to £60,000 pro rata depending on experience.
