Overview
Our client based in Lambeth are currently recruiting a Courts & Education Penalty Notice Officer to join their team on a temporary basis. Duties to include but not limited to: Undertake a range of systems and administrative duties to support Early Help Service and to provide a variety of office services directly to the Educational Welfare Team. Support officers in the gathering of evidence for legal proceedings associated with attendance and behaviour, supervision orders, parenting orders and other relevant legislation. Set up systems and processes for ensuring penalty notices and all statutory requirements for the Education Welfare Team are met and be the lead officer for administrating and monitoring these. Respond to customers/ parents visiting any one of the reception buildings in a timely way in order to process penalty notice payments or any other enquiries. Provide a professional response to telephone queries, dealing with queries that may not be straightforward, and referring on as appropriate (escalating where necessary), ensuring that information is passed on accurately and in a timely fashion to relevant parties. Contribute to the development of new systems and procedures to improve the efficiency of the service, including developing, maintaining and operating systems for monitoring services. Provide general administrative support, such as message taking, forms management, case file administration/storage/retrieval/destruction, booking venues, post management, and minute taking at team meetings and other panels as required. Exercise sound knowledge of the national Troubled Families Programme, Courts and Education Welfare Service and Early Help Service when responding to queries from clients, other members of the public and other professionals. Provide general office support such as ordering and maintaining office equipment, furniture, stationery, office supplies administration and assist with facilities management and site maintenance. Prioritise and manage own workload and tasks in response to changing demands from management and the public and participate in service improvement projects as required. Responsible for managing, updating and tracking young people and families entered on to Mosiac ensuring CAFs are entered on to Frameworki or similar systems at the point of referral. Work in other parts of the organisation as and when required. This is a Temporary role but could possibly become permanent Please note only candidates eligible to work in the UK will be considered
