Payroll Finance Assistant - Tech - £30,000 - Permanent - London City Your new company Working for a growing software business based in the heart of London City. A friendly team, seeking a Payroll led Payroll and Finance Assistant to join the Finance team as a newly created role. Your new role Your primary responsibility will be processing a relatively small payroll, with the support of an outsourced payroll bureau. You will package together all the relevant data, and calculate different variables such as bonuses and commissions and send across the excel package to the provider. You will run all checks, ensure the payroll is accurate and submit. You will also be involved in payroll year end, and of course be the single point of contact for all internal payroll queries. In addition you will be assisting the wider finance team with preparing and posting journals, month end, preparing accruals and fixed assets and various reporting and payroll analysis duties. What you'll need to succeed In order to be selected for interview, it is essential you have some kind of payroll and finance experience. You will be a confident and clear communicator, and have a fantastic attention to deal. A good work ethic, and be able to pick up new responsibilities easily. You will be using Excel on a regular basis, so an ability to perform VLOOKUP's and Pivot Tables is essential.
