Overview

Office Angels Milton Keynes are working with a large manufacturer/distributor who are looking to add a Credit Controller to their team. This person will manage an allocated ledger including responsibility for chasing overdue monies, reconciliations, credit checking, queries and disputes working within targets and deadlines. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to - To build strong professional relationships with customers To answer incoming telephone calls in a professional manner and providing customers with accurate information and advice based on credit control or company procedures and policy To make outbound calls to obtain monies required or overdue in a professional manner providing customers with accurate information and advice based on credit control or company procedures and policy To credit check orders for delivery ensuring within payment terms set to customer account, including: Credit checking and release or appropriate action of orders in accordance with company timescales To ensure at all times customer notepad and order notepad are updated To organise and obtain monies from customers where required To process card payments through the card payment system under the strict guidelines set in order not to breach any PCI-DSS compliance rules To ensure credit accounts do not go over their credit limits and are not overdue To ensure proforma accounts payment have been received To maintain aged debt ensuring all overdue monies are recovered within deadline sets and prompt resolution is provided on dispute and queries, including: Chasing outstanding or overdue aged debt by telephone, email and letters within the agreed time scale Maintaining accurate records of all chasing activity Resolving queries both internally and externally and following through until point of resolution/payment within a timely manner If a financial concern is identified relating to a customer ensure the line manager is immediately informed Liaising with other departments within the business to assist with customer issues Liaising with external staff providing updates on customer queries or concerns Ensuring that department deadlines specified are achieved with the correct information requested and in the format required Office Angels acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
