Overview
Payroll Team Leader Exciting opportunity for an experienced Payroll Team Leader to join this market leading, award winning International organisation. As the Payroll Team Leader you will lead a busy team of Payroll Administrators, managing workflows to ensure all UK payroll deadlines are achieved and ensuring that all work is completed to the required HMRC standards. The Payroll Team Leader is supported by a Head of Payroll. You will also work alongside a team of 2 other Payroll Team Leaders who manage their own teams, so there will also be lots of peer support. In addition to the 'business as usual’ responsibilities, my client is about to embark on a transformation programme and there will be lots of opportunity to lead on project work and play a key role in delivering change. Key responsibilities Plan and manage workflows for your team to ensure payroll deadlines are achieved Coach and develop the team where required Reconciliation of numerous monthly payrolls Point of escalation for complex queries Ensure all work is completed to HMRC, SOX standards Auto Enrolment Ensure all required controls are in place and effective Analyse audit data to identify areas for improvement Oversea cyclical activities including salary7 reviews, bonus, promotions etc Lead on key project work Develop and maintain robust relationships with key stakeholders Desirable Experience of HRIS, PeopleSoft, ServiceNow are desirable, but not essential Experience of working within a Shared Services environment is desirable, but not essential.
