Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Claims Handler to join our very well established client based around the Small Heath area of Birmingham. Our client is very proud to be one of the largest claims management/credit hire organisations in the Midlands and are a member of The Credit Hire Organisation. You will supervise a small team of ongoing hire and roadworthy claims handlers in addition to having your own allocation of claims. You will have previous experience and knowledge of the highway code, case law and credit hire to guide and lead the team. Other duties will include:- Monitoring the credit hire period and providing both insurers and clients with regular updates on the progress of their claim Using your extensive knowledge of case law or other information to negotiate with insurance companies regarding liability Review engineers report/vehicle damages Liaising with insurance companies for the instruction of their engineer and obtaining settlement of the clients' vehicle damages Liaising with vehicle repair garages in obtaining updates on client vehicle repairs Manage the teams daily diaries Working Hours are:- Monday to Friday 8.30am through to 5.00pm If you would like to be considered for this role and join an expanding, well established organisation, then please apply for an immediate interview.
