Overview

We have a fantastic new opportunity for a Senior Support Worker. Here at The Richmond Fellowship Scotland we are dedicated to making a real difference in supporting people with their everyday lives. As a senior support worker your duties could involve supporting and mentoring support staff, identify training needs and leading the writing of support plans. There will also be practical support with the person`s daily life, personal care or helping to promote a positive, active and healthy lifestyle to the individual you are supporting. We support many individuals with a variety of needs, some will also have physical and/or learning disabilities, some with limited verbal communication and some with challenging behaviour. We support 2500 people and each person we support is a unique individual meaning each support role will be different to the next giving you the chance to really make a difference in that person`s life. For this fantastic opportunity you will need at least 2 years previous experience of supporting individuals within care and already have or working towards you SVQ level 3.
