Regional Sales Manager - Permanent - Sunbury-on-Thames - £60K base benefits Regional Sales Manager - Permanent - Sunbury-on-Thames - £60K base benefits My client is a leading manufacturer of Electro-mechanical products looking to grow the sales team. Job Purpose / Objectives: Promote and drive sales of the company’s products. Provide support to distributors in the region’s territories and well as working to develop the business in key areas. Develop and improve sales and marketing processes promoting growth in the market-place. Sales: Regional Manager To proactively sell the company's products at agreed margins. To build up and maintain constructive relationships with existing and potential customers, ensuring access to key decision makers and establishing a positive business network. To promote Order Input by visiting existing and potential customers, and distributors soliciting further enquiries, advising on product applications, dealing with operational problems and customer complaints. Continuously review new markets and identify potential applications for company products. To negotiate key account agreements with key customers, distributors and business partners in conjunction with managing director. Managing key accounts and distributors and other channel partners, including appointing new, performance management and if required termination of channel partners To manage and provide support to the region’s distributors as directed. Managing reports including sales and orders forecasts Ensure that the company’s commercial interests are safeguarded with regard to risk, margin and liabilities balanced against exploiting significant opportunities in the market. Collaborate with other departments that support the sales process, gather required input and coordinate actions as necessary. To make occasional site visits in a product support role for enclosure verifications, product application advice and other customer/product support work. Provide market pricing and product information as part of routine reporting and assist with market research and development, to enable effective use of resources in the technical development of company products when appropriate. To assist with general promotional activities, advertising, press releases and exhibitions. To collect and collate details of competitors products and activities. Liaison with Regional Sales Managers of other regions. Working to deploy knowledge services. Developing channel partner toolkit. Develop tools and reports using Sage CRM Control price books and administration of channel partners Skills 10 years experience in an engineering sales role Experience as a regional sales manager outside of the UK
