Overview
THE OPPORTUNITY: Macildowie are looking for a Customer Service Advisor working for a manufacturing company based in the Loughborough area . The ideal candidate will coordinate all customer queries & opportunities for the region. This will involve co-ordinating quotations and providing timely information to all customers. This is a permanent position with the below working hours which is on a rota basis, Monday to Friday 9-5pm 10-6pm And one day a week 11-7pm THE ROLE & YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: Facilitating all actions necessary to assist Product Line Managers to develop sales in the specified region Co-ordinate with the various product development teams to penetrate areas for new products and assist with any promotional activities Carry out co-ordination of quotations Provide timely information to customers to ensure optimum customer service Proactively contribute to all team projects Generate and work on daily Microsoft Excel reports relating to sales order management Ensure that all customer issues and queries are acknowledged or answered within 24 hours Flexible as customer and team requirements change Ensure robust relationships are built and managed both internally and externally On Time Delivery focus and Root Cause Analysis Ensures all quotation, project and promotional activity is monitored and reported monthly EXPERIENCE SOUGHT IN THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE: Essential for the successful candidate to have customer service experience Good interpersonal skills are a necessity Previous experience in inside sales / customer service is desirable Good communication skills, both written & verbal are essential Analytical and detail conscious with a commitment to excellence Well organised and able to manage multiple tasks effectively Flexible approach within an ever changing environment Ability to positively promote a professional way of working culture Highly ethical and can work in a team environment Advanced PC skills with a strong knowledge of Microsoft operating systems (Outlook and Office), and common applications SAP and CRM knowledge is preferable Macildowie is a specialist recruitment consultancy with a rich history of enhancing the careers of professionals across the Midlands and the Northern Home Counties.
