Overview
You will deliver generalist HR support and advice on a large number of areas such as restructures, impact analysis, project reporting and partnering with the business. You will lead strategic and operational HR programmes and projects within HR or out in the wider business. People lead on key people change initiatives, responsible for managing a portfolio of projects and making a proactive contribution to delivery of the business agenda. As an HR Consultant, you will be resilient and collaborative in your approach to work. You will be joining a high performing team, therefore it is essential to be able to work autonomously. Our ideal candidate will be highly adaptable, pragmatic in managing realistic timeframes for project delivery and is highly planned. You will be delivery focused, have a proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and can demonstrate a background in delivery of HR change. Your approach will be consultative through coaching and questioning stakeholders to support them to in considering a risk based approach to delivering solutions. Profile Degree level qualification or equivalent experience Experience in HR processes and policies Proven background in project management and delivering HR change Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong stakeholder management Tolerant of ambiguity and comfortable with change Able to cut through complex issues and present practical solutions Experience of coaching managers including senior managers in people related issues Experience of working in a unionised environment Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Ability to work effectively with different internal and external stakeholders, customers and HR colleagues Experience of Microsoft Office(strong PowerPoint and Excel skills - essential) Job Offer Competitive salary, dependent on experience with great career development opportunities Great additional benefits Closing date is Monday 16th March 2020
