The purpose of the role is to lead a team that is agile, connected and accountable partner to the (one of the teams above) team enabling growth and performance through focusing on the five pillars of our Global HR Strategy: Continuous Learning, Disruptive Approach to Talent, Inclusion & Diversity, Speed, Focus & Simplicity & Fulfilling Employee Experiences for the GB market. The employee population is approximately 4000 people covering in 60 locations. The role is part of the Global Brand Manufacturing Leadership Team. This role leads the people agenda leveraging our global Centres of Excellence and shared service colleagues. It is also part of the Diageo Supply Chain and Procurement HR function which operates in a joined up, agile and collaborative way to create consistent impact across the whole of Diageo Supply Chain and Procurement. The top accountabilities for this role are: Partner with the Global Manufacturing Leadership team to build and deliver ambitious and disruptive talent plans which includes robust succession planning to future proof the business, resourcing for our biggest opportunities at pace, strong proactive pipeline of talent, and creating exciting accelerated career path for people which accelerates their development. This will include ongoing collaboration with the global Functions HR BPs and HR Bps in other markets. Lead the Organisation Effectiveness agenda across the organisation - grounded in the market strategy and by leveraging data and analystics creating possibilities that results in high performing and game changing performance, delivers cost efficiencies and injects the right reinvestments. The role provides change leadership across the organization by pulling the levers of across capability, process, ways of working, culture and leadership to deliver the outcomes for the business. Drive inclusion and diversity agenda across all HR levers (talent, reward, culture, learning, etc) that creates an inclusive culture where each employee feel valued for their uniqueness and are able to maximize their impact. Build high performing teams, coaching line managers to create an agile, stretching and focused performance cuture to enables outstanding performance and fulfilling employee experiences collaborating with HR shared service teams and our Centres of Excellence. Instill a continuous learning culture throughout the organisation ensuring employees have access to stretching experiences and great learning content that fuels constant growth in their capabilities and our business performance. Works with a future focused Employee Engagement agenda at the forefront of Employee Relations interventions. Leads the development of the Employee Relations Strategy outcomes. Your qualifications and abilities: + Several years of professional experience in a similar within both Supply and Demand contexts role, ideally in an innovative manufacturing environment + Experience with creating impact at scale in the function + Experience of working across multiple countries/geographies/cultures + Collaborates and influences across a variety of stakeholders at all levels, resulting in strong and positive outcomes + Builds and maintains genuine performance based relationships based on mutual trust and respect + Excels when dealing with ambiguity, complexity and working within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial and matrixed environment + Has an external radar in terms of the industry, peer companies and best practice in manufacturing organisations + Looks past the financial year on how to bring the future forward + Creates a strategic outlook + Brings thought leadership to the development of the Organisation and People Strategy into the function across all strategic levers Worker Type : Regular Primary Location: Edinburgh Park Additional Locations : Job Posting Start Date : 2020-06-03-07:00 As a global leader in beverage alcohol, our 200+ brands are part of everyday celebrations in over 180 countries.
