Contract HSE Specialist Based in Birmingham 6-month initial contract Working for a global manufacturing organisation Start immediately My client is a leading global manufacturing organisation who are looking for an experienced HSE Specialist to work with a hands-on approach on their large facility. The site is around 300-400 staff and have a very exciting future. HSE Specialist - Job Designation: · The Health Safety and Environment Specialist provides expertise in the development, implementation and management of effective Health, Safety and Environment programs/systems. Analyse hazardous situations and identify alternative action plans HSE Specialist - Core Responsibilities: · Works to develop, implement and maintain Health, Safety and Environmental programs/procedures · Performs audits and safety inspections of work environments, processes and operations in compliance with government regulations and industry standards · Ensures all applicable registrations, permits and licenses are in place and current · Leads the safety committees as well as analysing hazardous situations · Participates in developing and implementing training programs for employees HSE Specialist – Essentials: · Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience · Must have worked in a manufacturing facility · Have relevant qualifications This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89937601
