Mental Health Clinician - Psychologist/Occupational Therapist/Family Therapist - Band 7 - Tower Hamlets - £28 - £30 per hour We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative specialist mental health practitioner with CAMHS experience to work with us in the socially and ethnically diverse borough of Newham. As an experienced clinician you will join an established CAMHS to work at an embedded worker in the Newham Youth Offending Team providing an assertive outreach child and adolescent mental health service in a community setting. The successful candidates will be from one the following professional backgrounds: Clinical Psychology Nursing Occupational Therapy Child Psychotherapy Family Therapy The post is part of a comprehensive Child & Adolescent Mental Health Service, within the East London NHS Foundation Trust working in partnership with the Newham Youth Offending Service and will include the provision of specialist CAMHS advice/consultation and mental health assessment, specialised clinical interventions and liaison with other agencies. There is a strong commitment to clinical supervision and professional development within CAMHS and the wider NHS Foundation Trust including many learning opportunities. Responsibilities as a Mental Health Clinician: The clinician will provide a mental health service to children and young people who are involved in the youth justice system, offering consultation, specialist assessment and treatment within this context. This is a community-based within Newham Youth Justice Service. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring a high quality specialist CAMH service is provided. Requirements: Eligible to work in the UK Qualified as a Psychologist/Occupational Therapist/Nurse/Family Therapist Registered with the HCPC and NMC A degree or equivalent in occupational therapy/psychology/nursing Why Liquid Personnel?
