Atlas FM is looking to recruit a Payroll Administrator to work as part of the Head Office Payroll team. The role will initially be based in our Hanworth office prior to a move to our new Head offices in Hampton Hill in the summer 2020. Atlas FM Summary Atlas FM is a well-established, privately owned, £120m turnover business delivering Facilities Management services (mostly cleaning and security) to c. 3,000 clients across the UK. Role Summary Reporting directly into the Payroll Manager, the Payroll Administrator will be part of a payroll team responsible for paying 4,5000 employees each month. The role would suit someone who has previously worked in a high volume or FM environment. Core Duties/Responsibilities The successful candidate will be involved with the following tasks: Inputting changes to the payroll system i.e. rate changes, department changes, tax codes, third party payments etc. Calculating hours worked from time and attendance reports and timesheets and importing to the payroll system Checking entitlement for holiday pay Processing all payment information to ensure timely payments to employees Sending electronic payslips, P45s, etc Maintaining payroll records for benefits & pension purposes and administering changes where necessary Dealing with general pay and tax queries Liaising with other areas of the business to ensure accuracy Skills, Capabilities and Attributes The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following experience, skills, behaviours necessary to meet the requirements of the role: Previous finance experience in a similar role Experience managing a start to end payroll cycle would be an advantage An understanding of PAYE and NICs Good excel skills are essential Good organisational skills Positive can-do attitude Good communication skills Hours of work 9.00am to 5.00pm Mon - Fri Salary £22k to £24k per annum depending on competence and experience.
