Overview
Location: Coventry Salary: £38,000 - £58,000 (plus bonus) Still struggling to decide on a New Years resolution? How about dedicating 2020 to polishing your Cloud and automation skills? This financial organization is going from strength to strength and they are looking to hire a handful of experienced Cloud Engineers to join their tech team based in Coventry. On offer is a competitive salary plus a 10-15% bonus, opportunities for remote work, fantastic training opportunities, as well as the ability to 'hot-desk’ on site. They’re predominantly working with AWS for their current projects, but they won’t turn you away if you’ve been focused more on Azure. They’ll train and support you in the transition to AWS if you’re otherwise a great fit for them. They have a huge amount of progression opportunities and strive to grow organically by promoting budding talent in the first instance, this combined with a fantastic work culture sets them apart from the rest. You’ll have a few years of experience under your belt using Cloud technologies, being confident working alongside a small team in a very hand’s on position. Most importantly for this role would be understanding the core infrastructure of AWS (or the equivalent for Azure), alongside a wider knowledge of cloud architecture. Experience with scripting and automation technologies will be important (perhaps in a DevOps role), with this organization being particularly fond of Terraform. They aren’t looking to put up barriers to entry, if you’re switched on and fit their culture, they want to hear from you.
