Overview
Robert Half Finance & Accounting is currently working with a Cardiff based business to recruit a Systems Accountant with Microsoft Navision experience. The business is currently undergoing a period of significant change and investment which includes a major ERP implementation that will deliver significant benefits to their operating platform. Whilst the system already delivers the basic needs of the business, there are many untapped opportunities to optimize processes; enhance controls and deliver more informative management information. Working closely with the Finance Director and project team, you will play a key role in the implementation as the project approaches its final stages to ensure it meets the needs of the finance team. Key Responsibilities Improve controls in the system by supporting the definition and roll-out of user profiles for each user group. Transition from stock managed on excel spreadsheet to stock held within Navision in a planned and controlled manner, including suitable training to end users. Improve the purchase to pay process by implementing workflow for purchase order approval functionality within Navision. Finalising reporting and functional requirement from the finance team. Ensuring accurate date mapping and migration and resolving any subsequent data integrity issues. To be considered for this role you will be a proven systems accountant with experience of working as part of a Navision implementation, familiarity with the Microsoft Navision is vital. You will need to have strong engagement and the ability to operate as the conduit between finance, the PMO and the technical team.
