Primary Purpose of Role: Offer third and fourth line IT support and technical assistance for systems supporting a global user-base. Key Responsibilities: Prioritise production / business critical issues and remediate Complete assigned tasks and normal duties with limited direct supervision Plan, design, deploy, upgrade knowledge Develop, publish and adhere to standards, policies, and procedures Maintain network based applications / services Install, configure and support Microsoft operating systems and environments Monitor and support network services for Active Directory. New server purchases, set up, configuration and installation. On-going maintenance, system checks, security set up and support for existing systems. Monitor and ensure success of backup processes. Actively involved in problem resolution, testing, workarounds. Provide remote and on-site technical support. Provide emergency on-call support as needed. Travel to both domestic and international locations. Perform accurate and timely updates of tickets in the Service Desk. Monitor, maintain and complete Service Desk tickets. Troubleshoot and diagnose general IT problems. Image, configure and issue new PCs. Work closely with IT equipment suppliers. Key Behavioural Competencies: Good customer service skills. Ability to communicate effectively. Focussed on delivering a successful outcome. Flexibility towards core working hours to ensure support to global users. Willingness to travel overseas. Qualifications & Experience: Passionate about IT and technology. Degree level in an IT related subject is preferable. Any IT domain specific qualifications are beneficial. O365 Microsoft servers VMWare SCCM Active Directory Project Management SAN/NAS storage systems SQL Knowledge Knowledge and configuration of networking equipment (switches, routers and firewalls).
