Technical Manager Manchester (alternative locations may be considered) To £65,000 Car Package My client, a leading Global Claims Management company, are seeking to hire a Technical Manager to their Manchester office. In this key role, the Technical Manager will be responsible for driving standards and technical innovation across the entirety of their UK-based team of General Property Loss Adjusters. In addition to training and innovation, the Technical Manager will hold responsibility for the resolution of high-level complaints, the oversight of complex technical cases and direct management of a growing team of Auditors. The successful candidate will hold a significant degree of Commercial and Domestic Loss Adjusting experience and demonstrate deep technical knowledge of the regulatory aspects within Commercial and Property Claims. Although ideally Manchester-based, strong candidates would be considered in alternative locations. In this role regular travel should be expected. Key Responsibilities: Communicate and oversee the technical competencies for Commercial and Property. Act as a technical champion and develop effective relationships with key stakeholders; including Customers, strategic partners, and external communities. Ensure full awareness within Commercial and Property around the company's procedures and external regulatory requirements. Ensure high level management of complaints and complex technical cases including Client Communications where required. Audit. Experience & Professional Qualifications: Insurance qualification: ACII or CILA Extensive experience of operating within the technical claims market Substantive experience of Loss Adjusting Comprehensive experience of Insurer Client relationship management Extensive knowledge of client requirements, philosophies, and high-level complaint resolution. Extensive technical claims and regulatory knowledge. Sound knowledge and understanding of FSA procedures. Sound knowledge of the UK Commercial insurance market.
