Partnering and Commercial Manager job in central Cardiff - Up to £60,000 depending on experience plus benefits (Partnering and Commercial Manager / IT Business Partner / IT Business Relationship Manager / Business Relationship and Change Manager / Change and Transformation) A job opportunity has arisen for a Partnering and Commercial Manager to join a highly renowned and rapidly expanding Financial Services organisation that are based in Cardiff. The organisation is undergoing an ambitious technology and digital transformation programme. The Partnering and Commercial Manager will liaise closely with a range of internal and external suppliers to ensure technology alignment, improve collaboration and raise the profile of the growth and transformation agenda. You will act as a nominated key point of contact to help the business area manage technology risk, drive technology innovation, accelerate technology enabled change and ensure all technology foundations are fully implemented to support effective operations. The Partnering and Commercial Manager will work with multiple stakeholders to define service levels and manage expectations for technology capability, enhancing the supplier management capability. You will act as the ambassador into dedicated areas, promoting their values, vision, services and capabilities. Furthermore, you will act as an advocate for Group IT, promoting their vision and ensuring that the Technology Transformation aligns with business priorities. The Partnering and Commercial Manager will recommend new and innovative technology solutions that will deliver tangible benefits whilst also identifying opportunities to re-align provision of services that may create benefits. You will monitor the internal / external technology suppliers to ensure that all services are delivered to agreed SLAs, whilst supporting technology delivery plans. The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the following skills / experience: Proven track record of Relationship Management, with experience of liaising between IT and business teams / departments Previous experience of having worked as either an IT Business Relationship Manager / Change Manager / Transformation Manager / IT Business Partner etc. Excellent senior stakeholder management and communication skills Knowledge of technology and digital market and trends Relevant experience of managing and delivering technology enabled digital innovation in retail financial services and/or customer services operations Strong change management and organisational skills Excellent technical knowledge, including its use in delivering pragmatic business solutions Experience of transformation of business divisions to deliver cultural and business outcomes, including digital first strategies Previous experience of having worked in a Financial Services organisation Any knowledge of the Retail Retirement Income Market would be an advantage This position offers excellent scope for career progression plus a benefits package that includes: 27 days' holiday plus bank holidays (plus an additional day after two years) Generous pension scheme Life assurance Private medical insurance Performance related bonuses A variety of share schemes Discounts at a range of high street stores Discounts on products Training and development opportunities If you would like to discuss this position in more detail, please apply with an updated CV and I will call you to discuss.
