Overview
Head of FP&A & Business Partnering £65,000 - £75,000 per annum benefits City of London A PE-backed HealthTech business requires a commercially aware and driven Head of FP&A and Business Partnering to help accelerate the business through its next period of growth. With impressive YOY revenue growth and an ever-increasing reputation, the business has been through some exciting recent change and is about to embark on a second phase of growth and development. With 60% of the role focused on commercial activities and business partnering and 40% on traditional FP&A duties, this role offers great exposure to both the business and investors and is a true value add position. The Role: Acting as business partner to sales and marketing teams, as well as to the CFO, COO, and wider Executive team. Partnering on a range of projects including evaluating sales pipelines, developing new business, assisting with tenders, appraising new products and services, driving operational efficiencies and agile working, implementing cost control measures, etc. Working with senior sales staff to drive up margins, and to generally offer commercial and financial advice to improve performance and profitability. Working with the CFO on future fundraising rounds - providing due diligence and data room assistance, as well as meeting with potential investors. Responsible for the sales and cash flow forecasting process. Oversight of budgeting and business planning. The implementation of new and improved M.I and KPI Board packs. The general development and improvement of all FP&A and M.I related processes and controls. The development of a range of financial models for use in forecasting, scenario modelling, business planning, and a multitude of other activities. Responsible for monthly reporting on overall business performance, highlighting key trends, opportunities, and risks. All other duties and projects as directed by the CFO. About you: Qualified accountant. Able to demonstrate an ability to support decision making. Proven business partner to a range of internal and external stakeholders. A strong technical accountant, with recent exposure to driving commercial activities, business growth, performance, margins, etc. First class communication and presentation skills. Confident, assured, and proven track record in challenging an supporting senior stakeholders. Excellent Excel and financial modelling experience.
