Accounts Assistant - Entertainment - Central London A newly created Accounts Assistant position has become available, working for an Entertainment agency in Central London. This Finance Assistant position reports directly into the Finance Manager and will offer exposure into Management Accounts. This Accounts Assistant role is responsible for managing the AP and AR ledger, daily reconciliations and business partnering both internally and externally. Key skills: At least 1 years experience within a Finance role is essential Degree educated is highly desirable Solid academic background Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Good time management skills with the ability to operate to tight deadlines Proactive, demonstrating initiative and enthusiasm Ability to work well under pressure and to deadlines IT literate with experience using Microsoft Office Key responsibilities: Raising orders, processing supplier invoices/staff expenses, reconciling against supplier statements, bi- monthly payment run Raising orders, processing supplier invoices/staff expenses, reconciling against supplier statements, bi- monthly payment run Finalising sales invoices, raising credit notes, distributing client invoices and statements, chasing outstanding debts and reconciling aged debtors Bank reconciliations and petty cash Forecasting monthly cash inflows and outflows Assisting in completion of monthly Management Accounts, preparing accruals/prepayments Completion and submission of quarterly VAT return Supporting the FD in completion of budgets and monthly forecasting Being a key point of contact for all queries Maintaining and building relationships both internally and externally Other Ad Hoc duties/general support to the Finance Director Apply today to find out more Handle actively welcomes applicants from under-represented backgrounds PLEASE NOTE: Due to the high volume of applications we receive we are unable to respond to everyone.
