Overview
Reed Legal are working exclusively with one of the UK’s leading providers of infrastructure projects to assist with the appointment of a commercial minded in-house Legal Counsel. Reporting into the General Counsel, you will play a pivotal role within a small collegiate Legal & Commercial function who operate across the Group providing legal and governance support to their various subsidiaries. You will have the opportunity to take ownership of your workload and deal with a broad range of issues. Key to your success will be the ability to demonstrate expertise in the following: Drafting and negotiating a range of legal documents applicable to the business activities (including service agreements, works contracts, management agreements, contract summaries, property documents, data protection related documents, IT related agreements and ancillaries); Supporting the bid development and procurement teams including advising on new contracts and supply chain; Providing company secretarial support as required (board minutes, resolutions, constitutional documents etc); Supporting the Data Privacy and Compliance Manager in all matters relating to data protection (governance and accountability, data subject access requests, information sharing arrangements); Based out of the Head Office which is situated close to various key transport links in and out of Central London on offer is a competitive renumeration package, flexible and remote working.
