Overview
My client, market leading, UK based Engineering Consultancy, is searching for an Senior Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer to join an established team of Flood Risk and Drainage specialists based in Birmingham? It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background in a relevant discipline including a BSc and/or MSc in Civil Engineering and experience working for a UK based Consultancy or Local Authority completing Flood Risk Assessments, Surface Water Management Plans, Surface Water Drainage Strategy and Residential Drainage and Plot Drainage Designs in respect of S104 and S106 using Microdrainage. It is also beneficial for applicants to reside locally and have experience completing Hydraulic Modelling. This exciting role will offer candidates the opportunity to join a team of experienced Engineers to work on varied Flood Risk, Surface Water and Drainage Projects for Private Sector Clients, Water Companies and Local Authorities. You will be required to complete; -Flood Risk Assessments for flood zones 1,2 and 3. -Surface Water Management Plans. -Surface Water and Foul Drainage Strategy. -Detailed Residential Drainage, Plot Drainage and Sewerage Design using Microdrainage. -Drainage Area Planning.
