Overview
A new vacancy has recently become available for a suitable qualified legal counsel at a multinational manufacturing business based in Solihull, Birmingham. You'll form part of a group legal team of 20 lawyers from across the globe and be based at the corporate head office in Solihull. You'll be dealing with an assortment of commercial matters ranging from contract drafting (T&C's, Supply & Distribution, Purchase & Sale, NDA's, Licencing, IT), Compliance & Regulatory matters (Competition, Anti-Bribery, Data Protection & IP). You'll be providing accurate and commercial legal advice across all business area's taking ownership of projects. Where necessary you'll appoint and manage external counsel for niche matters. This is the ideal position for a solicitor working in private practice to make the transition to in-house. Whilst there is a strong preference for lawyers with commercial contracts experience, solicitors with experience in construction, IP or litigation are invited to apply provided they can demonstrate experience working with contracts. Lawyers with previous in-house or secondment experience are also invited to apply.
